CLOTHES THE DEAL
Making a difference...one suit at a time
"Clothes the Deal" is an agency that meets the needs of Job service agencies and their clients. They provide high quality, new and recycled men's and women's professional attire and accessories for low-income job seekers. A professional image and sense of support is gained by the recipients. Soroptimist International of Los Angeles, at least once a year, collects and donates appropriate clothing to "Clothes the Deal" to help with their efforts.
A Message from the President
Dear Supporters of Clothes the Deal:
We are delighted to say CTD is gaining in its mission to do every thing we can to support those that are in need of professional clothing in order to pursue work. Support for our services is always needed but equally important is the replenishing of our clothing inventory needed to provide a man or woman from head to toe with an outfit that will impress a potential employer. Stop by and drop off your lightly worn professional clothing, take a tour of our boutique and speak to the Board and staff about CTD activities and ways you can work with CTD to help those that need a little support to improve their lives.
Executive Directors Note
Over the past few weeks as the Executive Director of CTD, I cannot express how impressed I am with the services we provide. Two things are apparently clear so far from those that come through our door: First, clients leave with an outfit that will increase their odds of finding work and second, clients are uplifted through our staff which treats each person with respect and care. And all of this is a free service. We are using this Clothing Drop off Day in October to let the community know that we are here to provide a service and we need your support to continue to make an impact on those that need it most. Come by and re-connect or discover what CTD is all about and don't forget to clean out that closet.
