Ms. Greuel was one of the several outstanding women honored at the luncheon on Saturday, April 16, at the beautiful Castaway Restaurant in Burbank. Other honorees included Monika R. Williams, SILA’s 2011 winner of the Women’s Opportunity Award; Camille Johnson, SILA’s 2011 winner of the Violet Richardson Award; and Scarlett Aufmann and Stephanie Struck, SILA’s 2011 winner of the Graduate Student Fellowship Awards.
Ms. Greuel has been a long-time champion of local programs to improve the lives of women and girls and as City Controller, is currently the public watchdog at City Hall working to ensure the fiscal health of the City and guard against fraud, waste and abuse.
